quiet day

Hi. Today has been a quiet day at home for me and Riley. We have church tonight but other than that we have been at home. I am baking cookies right now to surprise Karyss when she comes home from school and Riley is taking a nap. I love when Karyss comes home from school. I still remember her first day of K-3. I was teaching in the same school at the time and I was an emotional wreck that whole day. She was absolutely fine and Full of stories when she came home. SOOO cute. I am so thankful that she is still that way now. She is only 7 but I know the years are coming when she won't be as excited to share with us what has happened at school and in her day. Does anyone have any suggestions for some one on one things I can do with her?? She has not been jealous of Riley but she has been our only child for 7 years and I know she feels it sometimes. I would like to think of some activities and fun things for our "mommy and Karyss times.

Hey Jenn! Your blog is looking good! You will have fun with it.

I don't know any advice to give you about time with Karyss as I haven't been to that stage yet....but I will tell you what I really HOPE to do with Skye someday...depending on her personality (just watch she will be a tomboy!) I want to get one of those wooden doll houses and paint and decorate it together. My Mom made me a dollhouse out of a shoe box once (with wallpaper and all) SOOO FUN!

We just had a play school one but doll houses are the "bomb"...

Lance was 9 yrs old when Kash came home. After a month or so, he said that he loved her, she was really cool but he wished somedays she wasn't there. :(

I had to put her to bed early and do some thing special ~ just the two of us. He said he missed the times it was just he & I. We probably had pizza and watched the Ninja Turtles...

Color in her coloring books, play games, read books... anything is great if it's just the two of you! :-) GREAT pics!
