Sunday....

So how is everyone's ( all 2 of you who may be reading this) Sunday going?? We are having a fairly decent day but it is COLD here today and it might snow tomorrow.. IN GEORGIA!! Can you believe that???
Otherwise it is busy. We are still trying to get ladies to commit and buy their tickets for the banquet but so far.. only 5 sold.. UGH!
I am trying to do an art project for the tables but anyone who knows me knows that I am NO GOOD at art and these projects are meant for children and I am having trouble. I need a GLUE GUN!! HELP! And guess what I just noticed????? There is a spelling error!! On the pattern..GREAT!!

Anyway, That's my day so far and I am about to be late for choir practice so I had better go!

Saturday fun!

Hi everyone!

Today I am working on the mother/daughter banquet with my friend Ashley. It is coming together but it is coming up quickly and we need to get things together. So far, ticket sales are not going well. We have sold only 3 tickets so far.. I am hoping these are last minute ticket buyers but we need a count quickly for the caterer!

A relaxed day

I am just so enjoying today. We cleaned the house some and then Karyss and I have been baking ever since.. She got to use her Easy Bake Oven which she hasn't had much opportunity to use lately and we also made Jan's Ginger Crackle cookies (Dan's most favorite)

" Being confident of this very thing, that He which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ" Philippians 1;6

I am so glad He is still working on me... Isn't that a song somewhere?

By the way, still no news to report on our house but I KNOW God is working on that too.

God is good to us!

Today, my mom and I were talking about seeing God.. I mean, seeing Him in our everyday lives. She was saying how when the snow melts and her flowers start blooming she sees God at work. For me, it is watching my children, especially Riley who was not supposed to walk, RUNNING around. What a great God we have and how well He takes care of us! How unworthy are we and yet He takes care of our needs and even our wants .... It is amazing to me how some can say there is no God..
This morning I read Proverbs 10:3. It says "The Lord will not suffer the soul of the righteous to famish". What a blessing that is! He will always take care of us. I have been very forgetful of this lately. I have been relying on myself entirely too much and looking at circumstances rather than remembering that my Father is a KING!
How blessed we are.
